Shipping Policy

We ship freshly made chocolates and Nilgiri specialties across India. Please read this policy so you know what to expect after placing an order.

Processing time

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). Large or bulk orders may need an additional 1–3 days; we will keep you updated by phone or email.

Delivery timelines

• Tamil Nadu & South India: 2–4 business days after dispatch.
• Rest of India: 4–7 business days after dispatch.
• Remote pin codes may take slightly longer depending on courier reach.

Delivery timelines are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed. Weather, transport strikes and festival seasons can cause delays.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on order weight and delivery pin code and are shown at checkout before you complete payment. We periodically offer free shipping on orders above a certain value — details will be displayed on the site.

Packaging

Every order is packed with care using food-grade materials. Chocolates are shipped in insulated packaging where required, but we recommend refrigerating them on arrival, especially during summer.

Order tracking

Once your order is dispatched you will receive a tracking number by SMS or email. If you have not received an update within 3 days of ordering, please contact us.

Damaged, missing or wrong items

Because our products are perishable, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, if your order arrives damaged, is missing items, or the wrong item was sent, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@coonoorchocolatefactory.in with photos of the parcel and its contents. We will replace the affected items or issue a refund for their value once the issue is verified.

Cancellations

You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by calling us on +91 94426 39914. Once the parcel has left our factory the order can no longer be cancelled.
